    Hi everyone!

Is there a set of popers for Our Lady of Fatima? I was considering the Votive mass of the Immaculate Heart. Any suggestions for Mass setting, hymns and alternative propers? What will you be doing?

I have about ten hymns to Our Lady of Fatima. I'll post a couple of them here, and the others later as I get them scanned. This one, by Campbell-Watson, says that it is a selection from the Pius X Hymnal; interestingly, though, it never did appear in that hymnal.

Here is still another hymn for Our Lady of Fatima by a Marist Father and a Sister of Mercy. I only recently learned of this hymn through the newsletter of the Marian Library at the University of Dayton (Marist Fathers). Here is the link:

At first I thought it was the same as the "Lady of Fatima, Lady of Light" hymn that appeared in the Australian Pius X Hymnal with credit to the Loreto sisters. Thanks for posting!

The same hymnbook has another to Our Lady of Fatima - Ave of Fatima

This video has a similar tune, must be Portuguese, though the chorus is a bit different

Anything Fatima in Latin could be quite useful to me.

I don't have my Gradual at my desk right now, but if nothing else Propers could be drawn from the Common of the BVM, using the Paschaltime "alleluia" endings as it will be in the Easter Season.

I don't have my Missal handy, but according to the very useful resource (http://catholic-resources.org/Lectionary/2002USL-Sanctoral.htm), the propers are indeed for the Common of the BVM.

The USSB calendar indicates the lections as follows:

    13 Sat Easter Weekday white/white
    [Our Lady of Fatima]
    Acts 13:44-52/ Jn 14:7-14 (284)

  • Is there a set of popers for Our Lady of Fatima?

    [Squinting]

Isn't enough that we have a reigning pope and an Emeritus pope? Do we now need special POPERS for Our Lady of Fatima?

    [Looking at the middle distance]

Where have all the Offertory antiphons gone in the Ordo of Paul VI? I am looking everywhere and finding nothing.

    [Forcing himself to focus]

Thank you for encouraging a collection of music for the upcoming Centenary.

FWIW, there's a Mass in honor of Our Lady of Fatima for SATB by Robert F. Crone (J. Fischer, 1954). It's not too hard or interesting, neo-Caecilian. It'll be another dozen years or so before Crone can be on IMSLP though. No Propers with the Mass.

I also have "Mass in English in Honor of Our Lady of Fatima," (Unison/Congregation or SA), by Sister M. Florentine, P.H.J.C., 1965, McLaughlin & Reilly. PM if you want it.
