Angus - from another list:
  • You said, "I did have to let the one doing the
bulletin know that it was Agnus Dei, not Angus Dei."

In one of my univ. music history courses, I usually asked
on an exam for the student to name the parts of the Ordinary
of the Mass. On those occasions (at least one in each class)
where a student wrote "Angus Dei," I'd always write in the
    margin, "Lamb, not beef!" *sigh*

My organ professor tells the story of how he played Dupre's Ave, Maris Stella for a concert. When he looked at the program, he saw "Ave Maria" by Stella Dupre.

Of course, the liturgical experts who talk about people who "stand on the alter" just make me [sic].

A concert tonight had a women's choir singing Ingrediente Domino. The composer was listed in the program as "Liber Usualis".
  • Maybe they get some support from Domino Sugar?

We sang "Uni Caritas" on Holy Thursday. Also, several times during Lent we had a "Meditation on the Divine Meditation," whatever that is.

It's right up there with the Ava Mariah - long "I" in the mariah - that I have heard some who should know better, discuss.
  • It just as bad as "Ava Maria"......

"Meditaton on the Divine Meditation" -- that title could have been written by Messaien.
