Hi, i´m looking for some polyphonic pieces for 3 voices in latin for this Pentecost, can some help me?
I´ve already seen Ravanello, and other simple composer, but they still haven´t convince me. I couldn´t find any good "Confirma Hoc Deus", which is the proper, but I would really like to see a kind of Fauxbourdone

It's so small, but I adore the Rheinberger Confirmation Hoc Deus (not the proper) from the St. Gregory Hymnal. It is such sublime writing for something so small.

It is 4 voices, but nothing that wouldn't be outside the range of a small group.

Another AMAZING piece is Serviam Scores' (James Richardson's) Emitte Spiritum Tuum. If you type in his name and the piece into YouTube, you should find it without an issue!

Lindusky's Tricinia has a few TTB (or SSA) pieces: Veni Creator Spiritus by Victoria and Accende Lumen Sensibus by Festa. I think you can still find a pdf of the Tricinia on this website.

We've used Jef Tinel's setting (IMSLP) of Confirma Hoc, but that's 2-equal with organ. This year we're doing Rene Becker (SATB org)
Agostino Donini (Perosi school) TTB org is worth a look.

Here is my own "Non vos relinquam orphanos"/"I will not leave you comfortless" in both ATBB and SATB editions. It is in the octatonic mode that omits D, F, G#/Ab, and B from the chromatic scale, and it was first performed 15 years ago, just 46 days after I published the original score at CPDL.

On a side note, I've always been inspired by the Everett Titcomb "I will not leave you comfortless" mentioned above, having sung it many, many times eons ago. When the bass enters on the Alleluia section, I have always been amazed and spiritually transformed by it being set to the melody of the "Veni Creator Spiritus" chant.

Hi, Jacob Vaet wrote a fine "Veni Creator" for 3 parts! There's an edition on CPDL:
