    His Victimae Paschali Laudes (or was it Mgr Revert’s) seems to be available but not the Te Deum.

    Yes one of the frustrating things is having to switch to the desktop site to see attachments.

    If you want to see attachments on your phone, go up to the menu next to “Mark All Viewed” and click on “View Full Site” (or something like that) and then you’ll have the desktop view on your phone.

    @Xopheros, in my experience, only by clearing your cookies. Instead, I switch my mobile web browser to use desktop site in its settings, because I can easily switch it back again.

    Thanks, everyone. I've downloaded and looked at the file. It's so helpful to have a working copy of this, rather than having to go back and transcribe from a recording!

    A few observations and some feedback (if anyone can convert to MusicXML):

    1. Cochereau seems to have got the number of syllables wrong a couple of times (to be expected, of course, as this is an improvisation),
    2. One person's rallentando may be another person's doubled length note duration,
    3. It might be helpful to add slurs (or the text that Cochereau's playing replaces) above the notes to assist with articulation.
  • This detestable transcription, which I wrote in an evening for a friend, keeps coming back to haunt me!
    1. Cochereau did get the number wrong a couple times. Oops.
    2. You're talking about the third to last note, right? In my experience, Cochereau, when playing repertoire, was more likely to anticipate a note for emphasis than to delay a note for emphasis (André Fleury, who taught him briefly, was fond of that practice). Hence my weird choice.
    3. I could maybe be talked into writing it again but with those details...

    I don’t mean any of my observations or points of feedback as criticism, Noctcaelador. There are all sorts of choices we need to make in transcribing from recordings - and the proverbial kaleidoscope will continue turning because viewpoints (or listening perspectives) on the same work will necessarily differ.
