    I agree about Festival Canticle, I have never understood its allure. The tune is very heraldic, but the lyrics are awkward IMHO.

    St. Michael’s Cathedral Basilica in Toronto recently published a new hymnbook titled “With Angels and Archangels,” which has a lot of very good and underused hymns.
