Thanks to the Archdiocese of St Louis, it looks like Friday's Colloquium Mass will be livestreamed at 5:30 CDT on youtube. I've included the player below embedded, but the diocesan page can also be found here

edit: link to the archived video instead of the stream

Thanks Ben. @chonak and Ben, it was suggested at the Colloquium that this be on the CMAA website somewhere.

I agree. Perhaps even grab it and put it on a CMAA channel so we can guarantee it stays online

I can do that, at least the copying to a new channel...

Yeah, this was the doing of Elizabeth Westhoff at the archdiocese. Would we need permission?

This was also suggested for the future for us. Well, not the streaming part necessarily but the filming of future liturgies at the Colloquium with commentary and drawings (like during sports matches on TV) from Bill Riccio to be put on Youtube. I like the idea.

There already are some CMAA videos on-line from the 2007 Colloquium; let's add anything new to the same account. I wonder if perchance a higher-quality video was saved by the system at St. Louis; the 240p video doesn't do justice to the setting or the deails.

  • Is anyone else getting a McAfee warning that the Chant Café is an unsafe site?

The Chant Cafe is hosted on Google's blog servers, so if that's unsafe, the internet is in trouble. I suspect that the warning is mistaken.

    So. Much. Compression.

@MatthewRoth: That would certainly be a very nice thing to have. For now the only thing close to that I've seen is probably then-Msgr. Fulton Sheen's one of an Easter Sunday https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqkqc2-iteQ, but the diagrams would be really neat. I hope this happens some day.

There are better ones on the Sancta Missa site, and there are a few Farnborough Abbey Masses (which use the Brompton not–quite–TLM ceremony, but bizarrely w/ recited readings) but none from the Colloquium which is musically pretty close to ideal as well as more typical ceremony for America.

The only problem, Richard, is that a user is auto redirected from the Café with no choice.

Thanks, Melo. Somebody send me a screenshot so that I can continue to investigate this. I need to know:
    -- the OS
    -- the browser
    -- the URL
-- the error message (and a picture is better)

You can post the image here in this thread, or send it by e-mail to my gmail address, which is "richardchonak", etc.

By the way, if anyone wants (but doesn't know how) to send me a screenshot of the error message they are seeing in regard to Cafe, see these links:

  • Lunix? What is that? I can't take a screenshot! Even the best technicians in the world can't take a lunix screenshot!

On my Thinkpad running Ubuntu, I often take accidental screenshots because the printscreen key is in a bat spot.

Am dreaming of the day this happens. He could be like the John Madden of liturgy. I'd say the Don Imus, but I think Mr. Riccio approves of women in head coverings . . . :S .

Is anyone still getting an error message when trying to access Chant Cafe? @SamuelDorlaque? @melofluent?

If this is still happening, I would like to fix it, but since I'm not seeing it happen here, I need your assistance.
