Anyone have a Liber U they'd be willing to sell? Someone was asking me if I did, and I said I'd try and connect him with someone, since I don't have one.
If you have one you'd be willing to sell, please PM me your email or other preferred communication channel, and I'll connect you two.
I have two LUs from the early 1900's, but they are both sentimental copies from my best friend who was a priest and confessor for many years, and another from a dear friend. I don't think I could stand to sell either one.
Just be aware that Libers published prior to 1950 will not have the "new" Easter Vigil, and those prior to 1955 will have the "old" Holy Week - i.e. they will not line up with the 1962 missal. This includes the St. Bonaventure Press reprint.
Biretta Books (St. John Cantius in Chicago) has a 1962 Liber Usualis for $99 plus shipping. I'm not sure who printed it, or what the quality is like. Does anybody have any experience with it? I was considering ordering one for myself. http://birettabooks.com/go/webstore/product/1962_liber_usualis/
The 1962 reprint (from Angelus Press?) is a Latin-only edition (no. 780). Paper and binding seem to be of good quality - I would say a little better than the Bonaventure edition (reprint of 1953). It is slightly fatter than original printings.
