Sorry that this was not up sooner. I tried posting it last evening but the forum was not working. Did anyone else have trouble accessing this site yesterday?
Someone sent me an e-mail about the problem, but I didn't see it until the morning. The forum is working (albeit slowly) now, so I assume the problem was not specific to our web site, but an issue at the hosting company.
Why is it that the Sundays of ordinary time have that skip in them? I imagine that it's just to be flexible for the placement of Easter. Is that correct?
The Sacred Heart of Jesus has three options for the Communion chant. I am only going to have time for one (I'll finish the others later, but not in time for this year's liturgy).
Would it be possible to get the correct version of the communion for the 5th Sunday of Easter?
I ask because we're going to try out the "eucharistic antiphons to be used ad libitum" list at communion first to gauge reactions, before possibly switching to using propers at Advent, and that's one on the list.
Could we get MusicaSacra to host these files as part of the resources section? These are exactly what I have been needing all year long. Unfortunately I posess neither the time nor the talent to set these to music every week.
VermilionSparrow, It should not be a problem. I can hopefully post it later today.
hartleymartin, I would like to have these posted in the resources, but not until they are all finished and I've had time to proofread it all. I plan to do a lot of editing on some of the early ones.
