Dear members of the MusicaSacra community,
My name is Angelo Sonvico, and I am a sacred musician writing to make my availability known for future church music needs in the United States, beginning Fall 2026.
I am trained in Gregorian chant, choral conducting, organ performance, and composition.
I hold a Ph.D. in Gregorian Chant (summa cum laude) from the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Milan, along with diplomas in Choral Conducting and Composition. My formation and professional life have been deeply shaped by the Church’s liturgical and musical tradition.
I bring over twenty years of experience serving parishes, choirs, and educational institutions in Italy and Switzerland, combining rigorous liturgical formation with extensive practical work in chant, sacred polyphony, choral direction, and organ accompaniment.
I would welcome private conversations with parishes, schools, or institutions that may be planning ahead or discerning future needs in sacred music. I am available for remote interviews and would be glad to share my CV, references, recordings, and a brief statement of my musical and liturgical approach upon request.
Thank you for the valuable work this forum provides to the sacred music community.
    Sincerely,
    Angelo Sonvico
