Hello, I am looking for a well composed Easter Motet, not too difficult for
    satb or 3 part brass.
  • Ghmus,

Do you have a particular text in mind?

For example, are you trying to keep the sense of Resurrexi or Haec dies or something else?

    English or Latin?
  • Is this SATB or 3-part vocal with brass?

Here is the latest (2022) incarnation of my anthem/hymn setting of "At the Lamb's high feast" - for SATB, brass quartet (trp, hn, 2 trb), and organ. The original version is available at CPDL (also uses optional handbells, and the brass is 2 trp, 2 trb). I've also arranged for the instruments to be a woodwind quartet or a string quartet. It's a rather festive setting. Comments and/or other instrumentation requests welcome.

  • I love this setting of the Regina Caeli by Gregor Aichniger. It retains a lot of the chant melody but embellishes on it very nicely. It also is not too hard.

    WAIT.

Regina Caeli, the Aichinger, with brass doubling the vocal parts.
  • Vansensei, that could work really well.
