    Recording and score. This is five years old, written as the recessional for an Easter-season wedding. It's probably my most American-sounding piece. Looking back on this, I'm particularly fond of the middle section. The choir takes the tempo slower than I'd envisioned, but the church was so reverberant it would have been difficult to go any faster.

    Bumping for season...a little late for the planners, but still. We are planning on using the middle B section as a 2-minute Communion motet in the coming weeks - Pascha nostrum immolatum est Christus, which starts at 1:37.

    This is really nice.
    Hints of early medieaval polyphony - hocket and all.
    You have admirably captured the spirit of the Pascha nostrum chant - which has always seemed to me to be a remarkable synthesis of grief and unbound joy.
