    I haven't heard that one since the use of the name of God was banned. Someone has probably revised it, but it seems to have faded away. I think I will just sing some old songs, instead.

    I still remember Fred Kofin (The best cantor we ever had. Polish. Survived Auschwitz. Survived the death march. Helped us with our Latin.) asking, "'Yaveh'? Vat is dis 'Yaveh'"?

    Yeah, most of the songs with the name of the Lord that I've heard have been revised, that one included. They usually just put in "O Lord" or "The Lord" in place of the "Y word."
