Anyone have any suggestions for good Spanish music for Good Friday?

There is a Spanish translation of the Stabat Mater in Flor y Canto. The book also includes one of the few nice Good Friday hymns, O Cruz Fiel y Venerable. Perdona, Tu Pueblo is also a good one.

yes! i also dicovered perdona a couple of weeks ago. thanx. we r good to go. we r doing mostly english this year hoping they learn to assimilate more into the culture. we do them no favors by insulating them from reality.

O Cruz Fiel y Venerable is BEAUTIFUL and is set to one of my all-time favorite hymn melodies (Picardy, more commonly associated with "Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence").

Do you have Flor & Canto? In the 2nd edition, it's #479. (Believe it or not, there are a few really good things buried in there ;)
