    Yes, this really is about two years ago. At the Mass on June 24, when Cardinal George was the Celebrant, we used a very ornate "Ite, Missa Est".

    Where did that Dismissal come from? And are there more?
  • It's the Ite Missa Est from Mass II. You can find all of the Ite's at the ends of their respective Mass settings in the Kyriale. Mass II is typically sung on big feasts.

    Ah, I see, it's not in the Graduale, but in the Liber.
  • Sure it is. It's on page 11* of the 1961 Graduale that's downloadable from Musica Sacra, under the words "Vel secundum communiorem usum."

    Very curious, Looking through it, there are no Dismissals listed except for Mass I.
  • Not even the Ites for Masses VIII and XI ?!
