    Just got a response from Dr. Gordon Truitt, the editor of "Pastoral Music." Unfortunately I missed the deadline for the March issue, but he said that it would appear in the May issue. As hard as it may be to believe (for those of us who are steeped in the goings-on of the CMAA) most parish musicians working in the trenches around the country DO NOT know about the CMAA and all of its resources and activities. Even if the colloquium registration is full by the time the May issue comes out, at least a few NPM members who may have never heard of the CMAA will wander over to our website and find out what we're all about.

    I always submit CMAA events to our Archdiocesan Office of Worship, which sends out a brief e-newsletter several times per year. I would suggest other members do the same.
