    There is an immediate opening for Director of Music at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Diocese of Jefferson City, MO. The position is a part time position, 20-25 hours per week.
    Duties include: Directing parish choir and oversight of the parish music program.

    Could more information be provided? Number of people in the choir, types of music sung (genres, etc.), instruments available (organ, piano), facilities, music sources in the pew?

    I did some digging at the website and there's virtually no information about the music program at the cathedral.

    Cathedral of St. Joseph has aprox. 1400 families, 500 kids in school K-8 grade and aprox 50 people in the choir.

    Primary instrument is organ but also have piano. Currently using Gather hymnal, but will need to replace by advent 2011
