I'm looking for some SSA motets, simple ones to begin with, perhaps Marian and Christmas. Thoughts?
  • If you can get your hands on a copy (or download) of two old books called 'Secunda Anthologia Vocalis' and 'Tertia Anthologia Vocalis' they are crammed full of wonderful polyphonic music by all the great Renaissance masters - most if it (in one the books anyway, I forget which) are SSA (or TTB).

Lots of things for all seasons and feasts. Is it available online? I'm surprised It's not available on this site, or have I missed it?

    Excellent.

I'm not looking for children's music so much as Renaissance polyphony (or more recent compositions along those lines) that are SSA-voiced--and not overwhelmingly difficult harmonically.
  • doesn't Oxford have an Oxford Book of Anthems or Carols for SSA titled something like Book Four?
