Can anyone recommend a Soprano/Alto or two equal voices setting of the Magnificat?

Here is an a capella one, based on the second psalm tone.

@Xopheros thank you!! Do you happen to have any recordings or practice tracks??

Unfortunately, there is not yet a recording, AFAIK. Note that the upper part sings the literal psalmtone as cantus firmus, so you would only need a practice track for the bottom voice. It should thus not be too much trouble to create create a practive track for your choir yourself.

@Xopheros, does your notation software export MusicXML? If so and you're happy to share it, PM it to me and I can create a synthesised practice track.

@probe I am using abc and can directly export midi. I would not have thought that this is useful as a practice track, because it is machine generated and the onset and end of each notes is exactly as written with no breathing, no agogics, no articulation, no distinction between good and bad notes and no phrasing. This means that, when used as a practice track, the singers will learn bad habits that will be difficult to unlearn later. I would have thought that this does more harm than good.

Nevertheless, I can generate midi, if this is considered useful.

That's true. The virtue of being obviously mechanical is that learners *should* recognise it as merely a "note-bashing" aid, like many such midi and mp3 choral tracks on the internet. The phrasing is then learnt in rehearsal when they can afford to watch the conductor as they should be more familiar with the pitches. A midi file with words would be useful, thank you. I've tried importing the score with Audiveris but it can't cope with the non-metrical measures. So there would still be some note and word entry needed, and I'd like to be lazy and have that done for me :)
I did the first page as an example. If it's too painful, I'll drop the idea.

Just to wrap up, I attach the separate MP3 parts and the MusicXML renamed to .txt if anyone wants to adjust it. (Edit: Alto part with Sop cue)
