Here's my translation of the collect:

O God, who brought the priest Saint John Henry,
    following your kindly light,
to find peace in your Church,
    grant by your favor that,
    by his intercession and example,
    we may be led
    out of shadows and images
into the fullness of your truth.
    Through our Lord...

That’s close to the official English text of the collect:

O God, who bestowed on your Priest
    Saint John Henry Newman
the grace to follow your kindly light
    and find peace in your Church;
    graciously grant that,
    through his intercession and example,
we may be led out of shadows and images
into the fullness of your truth.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.

Here is the collect from Divine Worship (the liturgy of the Ordinariates). There are no line breaks in my study missal, but I have added them to facilitate comparison.

O God, who didst bestow upon thy Priest
    Saint John Henry Newman,
the grace to follow thy kindly light
and find peace in thy Church:
    graciously grant that,
    through his intercession and example,
we may be led out of shadows and images
    into the fulness of thy truth;
through Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord,
who liveth and reigneth with thee,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
    ever one God,
    world without end. Amen.

For other folks intrigued by the above comment:

    1. Bookmark this for the English language version of the daily Bollettino:

    http://press.vatican.va/content/salastampa/en/bollettino.html

    2. Be aware that English language daily update is not always . . . timely. If the current day appears . . . bereft, click on the "IT" [Italian] option in the upper right corner (it will also be bereft on Vatican and Italian holidays, and if . . . nothing happens on a given day). "Rinunce e nomine" = "Resignations and appointments".

The relation of the official English and Latin versions makes me wonder which was composed first.
