Musical customs (1962 books)

I'd be interested to know what customs various communities have in relation to music in the context of the Mass, Office other sacraments and devotions celebrated according to the 1962 books.

In England, I note the custom of singing the prayer for the King after Sung Mass, for instance.

In other places, hymnals as published suggest a rich range of hymns and other singing at Benediction - though the context and structure of the singing in terms of Benediction is unclear.

In others still, I have observed the singing of a vernacular hymn before and after Solemn Mass.

Has anyone seen an interesting set of customs in relation to the public veneration of relics?

I'd be interested in what customs you have seen around the place. Preferably praeter, rather than contra, legem.

Not a custom... it is in the Ritus Servandus authorised by the Bishops of England and Wales.

In Switzerland they sing a pose before the Sermon

In England it is customary to sing the seasonal Marian Anthem with Versicle, Response and Prayer after Mass and Vespers.
