    I don't know who needs this, but I've prepared an edition of Gaudete easily readable and performable both with and without the optional musica ficta that were written into the 1625 edition, and with the whimsical verse tune that also occurs in the second edition.

    For the introduction, the Tenor is employed as the "melody" since, in fact, it is!
