How to chant the incipit Carissimi

    This is a stupid question, but...

    When setting the Epistle to the Gregorian tone in Latin, do you use the mediant and chant ti ti do do, or just stick with do do do do, or do you sing do ti ti do?

    I have been preparing a resource for my priest to practice since our bishop ended our Tridentine usage two three weeks ago.
