Our parish will be celebrating the 150 anniversary of our current building this coming December. Looking through some town archives, I see from a newspaper report that Louis Lambillotte's Alma Redemptoris was sung at the dedication in 1875. I was thinking it would be nice to sing this at our anniversary Vespers celebration, but can't seem to find it anywhere. Is anyone familiar with this work? And if so, is it worth doing (perhaps there's a reason it's difficult to find)? Most importantly, might anyone have a copy?
