Our community have a bulk quantity of the St. Pius X Hymnal by Dr. Theodore Marier that we're looking to get rid of. If anyone is interested please let me know. We'd like to sell it for a reasonable price. They're in pristine condition, with all harmonies for hymns and motets and Chants in modern notation. A great tool for beginner's choirs.
I don't mean to get rid as if we don't value them, our community prefers hymns from various hymnals not just one hymnal, we have made copies from this hymnal for many years.
Unless these were stored somehow much better than the many dozens of copies I’ve come across over the years, these are probably best sold individually on eBay or something similar. They’re usually a little brittle/crumbling/fragile. If sold individually they’d probably find better homes as reference books in 20ish choir lofts around the country.
Of course I understand the true context of "...get rid of".
I've just been in so many situations assisting colleagues with similar situations and I know what it is like to earnestly seek out new homes for venerable resources such as those you are dealing with.
@matthewj These are stored in really good condition, some ribbons are a tiny bit messed up, but the hymnals themselves are intact and in pristine condition, no ripped pages, etc..
