    Greetings all—
I've been trying to comb through old forum posts, but so far have come back empty handed. I'm looking for the sheet music for the chaplet of divine mercy (simple english chant edition, not the sappy one). I can see some threads here on the forum that have a version in latin, as well as Esguerra's adaptation into church mode 1 (which I rather like) however I need the chant-esque version which is sometimes on EWTN. We are having special devotions on Thursday since it's our patronal feast day, and I've been asked to lead the chanting of the Diving Mercy Chaplet at 3pm. Any help you can provide would be most welcome.

(Part of my problem is that I do not know who originally arranged/conceived the chant version, which makes it harder to search for exactly what I'm looking for. All the sheet music results on google are for the sappy version, or knockoffs thereof.)

Admittedly, we use the sappy P&W version for our quarterly school Chaplet.... The whole school belts it and I hardly need the organ. I just let them sing a capella most of the time...

This chant version is quite lovely, though!
  • Here is a square note edition. If helpful

Thank you Rob & ML! These are both extremely helpful. (I'm happy to have the square note version too!)

On a side note, it is a pity that in the first melody (1,3,5) the slur is on the word "on". If I had my druthers and it wouldn't confuse people who have heard it before, I would give "on" one note, and then make "world" a two note slur [long-long]. Feels more authentic to my ear.
  • I agree... I think the issue is that its too stamped in everyones memory at this point nationwide.
