Anyone else getting spammed out the wazoo?

    My email is blowing up and I've received over 600 "messages" this morning, from this forum.

    Mercifully, my forum account is a gmail address and I was able to set up a filtering parameter using the username of the hacked account to delete the incoming messages before any more can forward.

    Yes, 344 so far. It would be nice if all of them could be deleted by administrative action.

    Me too. You can change your account setting so that you don't get email notifications of private messages (a short term solution to keep your inbox free).

    Yep me too. I had to block the email address. I got about 600 emails in 20 minutes.

    Yes. I had something like this happen at work when someone hacked the entire provincial government networks. It was in the thousands of emails, which we all received an audible notification each time we got a new email. To add to the fun, people kept “replying all” to complain about how annoying all these spam emails were. Thankfully I was able to call IT and they showed me how to set up a filter to send everything to my junk folder and pass it along to everyone else.

    NB chonak our admin blocked these and normal service resumed - time stamp an hour and three quarters after SponsaChristi posted the above.
