MUST know SATB piece?

Hello, We are leading a middle school/ high school choir for a large group of Catholic families whose children attend a public classical charter school. There is no parish choir in our area and parents want their children to learn Sacred music. They learned Lambillote's Panis for their first SATB piece in the fall and did fairly well with it. The plan is to teach them a few chants (having the ladies and gents sing separately) and then carefully choose an SATB piece that we can learn by sending rehearsal tracks home since we have very limited rehearsal time. Suggestions? Thank you!

These link to score pages at CPDL, and the well-known works are not difficult:

O bone Jesu (Marco Antonio Ingegnieri) -- (one edition even has MP3 practice files).

Adoramus te, Christe (attrib. Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina) -- the Brian Marble edition is excellent.

Would be interested as well, as we currently build a boy's choir at our cathedral from scratch.

The four voice Ave Maria attributed to Victoria is good for beginners.

It's by Jacob Handl (Gallus), and here is my edition (also at CPDL):
    Handl-Ave Maria - Benedicta tu.pdf
    92K
    Handl-Ave Maria - Benedicta tu.mp3
    3M

Thanks! And the thread of 10 anthems is really helpful.

A four-part arrangement of "O Sanctissima" is always good to have — many hymnals include it, and the harmonies tend to be simple and beautiful. The St Basil hymnal has a good one, as does the Traditional Roman Hymnal. (I can share PDFs if needed!)

The Dubois "Adoramus Te Christe" is also pretty simple, and really lovely.
