    Hi there,
does anyone know of a O nata lux for male (tenors and basses) voices? I know of the Tallis of course but I am looking for something else.
    Thanks,

Hi there, you could look at Anna Lapwood's "O nata lux".
It has been edited voor SATB but began as a motet for male voices...

If you've got countertenors, the Denis Mason setting (ATBB) is quite lovely.

There's also a lengthy setting by John Brackenborough for SSA that could probably be performed TTB (if your basses can read treble clef).

I wrote Anna Lapwood but alas only the SATB is available. Would have loved to get the one for male voices. I don't like the Brackenborough.

Or you can try the Tallis this way, if you have the forces.
