    The 400th anniversary of his death is this December 28th. My pastor is willing to have a High Mass on the 27th, but what would you sing, if you had the resources, for such a momentous occasion?

    Well the 27th is the Feast of St John... You could sing Palestrina's Missa Iste Confessor, perhaps the chant Hymn Iste Confessor, and you could sing the Sarum Sequence of Confessors Adest Nobis dies alma at the beginning as an entrance hymn. A polyphonic Alma Palestrina?
