Inspired by Pope Francis on his latest Movie Series, "Stories of A Generation - with Pope Francis", currently on Netflix.
Pope Francis always emphasizes Hope, Dreams, Memories, Prayers, and consistently pushes for Work for peoples' dignity and pride.

Listen to, Be With, Honor and Love our Elders.
    Thank you Pope Francis!!!

Unless you like the old rites. Then all bets are off.
  • Is this a duplicate thread, presumably by accident?

With respect, no one here has been discussing the composition. They can't get over his opinion of the Holy Father.

I understand and share the frustration with what His Holiness has been doing lately, insofar as it directly affects me and my work, but is a pile-on on a new guest, a fellow Christian / Catholic musician who stumbled on a "church music" forum and wanted to share his own music making really warranted? Helpful? Hospitable? Going to generate any goodwill at all??
  • I listened to Rene's piece. It's very nice, in an easy listening sort of way. I could see how it could be helpful to putting one in a contemplative mood. And yes, the lyrics reflecting on how our Lord will be with us always provide great consolation.

Still - the choice of a dedicatee makes this, at the very least, unintentionally ironic.
