Yote is the past tense of yeet, which means to something like “to throw” or “to launch”

You can yeet something out of a window, or yeet a shuttle into space.

I had the feeling that quotidian was in the lyrics of "I am the very model of a modern major general" but I checked and it is not. I am using uppercase sparingly, because I sliced my pinky finger on a mandolin while making Christmas dinner and it still hurts at the slightest pressure.

Quotidian shows up (among other places) in Shakespeare's Henry V, near the death of Sir John Falstaff. (The word is, so I'm told, misused by the character at that point.)
