    That does come across graciously; I wonder then if the first podatus of the word "a" had be better dropped.

    One thing that always worries me coming at this as an intermediate Italian student is how well the tone of the language of the Missal del dia antiphon matches the translation of the verse, in this case RV 1960.

    The buildup that the four notes provide when sung with understanding is a compelling feature (at least to my ear/voice).

    But dropping the first podatus of the word "a" would have been my second proposal.
