I didn't know if there was already a post like this on the Forum already (nothing new under the "cloud", as internet scripture says) but I'm in such a good mood I thought it would be good to start something like this afresh.

Post your shout-outs of gratitude, encouragement, etc. regarding other forum members.

I'll start with LenaH. You and your choir really came through for us this past Sunday. When I got your email a few days before our big debut I wasn't sure we were going to have the mass due to lack of servers. Well, you supplied them, and how! That's not even mentioning you and your singers. We went from being a decently good choir to sounding outstanding with your addition. Thank you. I hope to be able to return the favor someday. (Also, Clerget, she sends her regards and hope your current situation treats you well.)

My own hat is off to Mr Giffen; where would we be without all the work he puts into CPDL?

    Yes!

And to Mr. Noel Jones who has helped me on numerous occasions with all of his efforts at Frogman Press!

Richard Rice for his generous contributions to everyone (including myself) looking for mass antiphons, LoTH antiphons, etc.

    Deacon Fritz -
Who, though he too seldom writes, always has observations that are sage, and theological insights that enlighten us all.

    And Fr Ron Krisman -
Whose comprehensive and informative knowledge of hymnody is laudable.

janetgorbitz, thank you for coordinating CMAA events. You make everything run so smoothly. (And thank you for helping me make attending my first colloquium a possibility!)

Thank you to TinainAshburn: It was a post of yours ca. 2007 extolling the wonders of CMAA's Sacred Music Colloquium that planted the seed, resulting in my attending the 2009 Colloquium, Loyola, Chicago. I've never thanked you personally or publicly for this until now: Many thanks!

Also to janetgorbitz for all you do for CMAA...your gracious accommodation of members' needs is most appreciated. I hope to meet you in person someday.

And to all who serve on the CMAA Board, those who post questions and those who offer their experience, expertise, and insight: Thank you! I have learned much from each one of you.
