  • Silly question, perhaps, but is this in the OF or EF?

    ...
  • Haha! It is surely an EF!
  • Tom,

Evidently I need my glasses checked.

    NJerseyTrad,

Pleased to hear it, and sorry for wasting your time with what I guessed was a silly question.
  • There are no silly questions, Chris. Only silly liturgies.
  • Stimson is right, very right.

The question was not at all silly.
After all, wondrous liturgy with wondrous music can result from the OF or the EF.
Indeed, have we all not been victims of the foolish notion that only the EF or the pre-conciliar rite can be beautiful?

Those who share that idiotic fallacy should visit Walsingham's high mass on just any old Sunday.
(Granted, it's not the OF, but it's English.)

Well, I'd like to think that's not the case. The beauty of the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom made a deep impression on me in college. :)
Regardless, I hope all goes well for this upcoming Mass.
