    I have revised and hopefully improved verse 2 of the Palm Sunday/Sacred Heart paraphrase, faintly echoing Fred Pratt Green's "To Mock Your Reign, O Dearest Lord".

    Try it with Tallis' Third Mode Melody, repeating this verse after verse 5 (in rough accord with the format used in the Offertoriale) to round out the final CMD verse. [Edit: Or repeat this verse after verse 4, and close with verse 5.]

    Aristotle, I have to thank you for this corpus of translations. I use them regularly (in conjunction with AntiphonRenewal's resources). I find them quite gratifying to use, and it's very nice to be able to have the people sing the texts in a familiar way, and then follow up with Fr. Weber's chanted version during the incensation of the altar. Best of both worlds.
