    Number three is one of my most favorite hymns of all time... so sorry... i missed the E pickup... you guessed it!

    The second one is a tune by Schop... another of my favs.

    CHGiffen—I second the request for clue! It has been driving me crazy. My first guess was that it was some Lutheran chorale tune, similar to VON HIMMEL HOCH. Probably not even close!

    The first is THREE KINGS OF ORIENT, aka "We Three Kings", yes?

    And the second is the same melody in d minor with a pick up? Is it another tune that I should know? A mode 2 chant melody? Am confused!

    Tricky! I started by trying to make a chant tune out of it. But, then I played with the rhythm, and:

    MCKEE "In Christ there is no East or West"

    Still working on the other one! (and resisting the temptation to just start digging through hymnals)!

    I'm going to be obsessed with this for a while! Now that I know it's a chant it's beginning to seem familiar. I'm sure someone will know!
