    A workshop in Gregorian chant, concluding with the singing at the Sunday celebration of a Missa Cantata in the Extraordinary Form. We are blessed by being able to sing the Mass in one of the original California missions; this one founded on the feast of St. John the Baptist (hence its name) in 1797. In some ways, SJB is an amazing little town; even though it's only 40 miles from San Jose, chickens still roam the streets, and when we have Mass in the evening we have to be on the lookout for the Pastor's cat Sulla, who likes to come in and see what's going on.
