Advent reconciliation service

I just found out that I need to provide music for an Advent reconciliation service the first week in December. What texts do you think would be appropriate for this para-liturgical service? For the Lenten one we did things like Parce Domine and Attende Domine as well as settings of the Lenten psalms. I would like to reflect the penitential nature of the sacrament without making it seem like Lent. (This is a parish where they wear a blue-purple for Advent - don't get me started). I can imagine singing a form of the hours, but it would have to be somewhat open-ended to allow for the length of time needed for individual confessions.

I find "Creator of the Stars of Night" relatively penitential. Also good is the Rorate Caeli hymn.
  • "Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus" is also a good penitential-leaning hymn.
  • Rorate caeli, the so-called Advent Prose, also works well if you have a schola/choir/cantor.
The Litany of Penitence works well.
Since these are only barely liturgies, I've used Taize music to good effect.
