Ordering Missalettes

    Does anyone here know what time of the year parishes typically start ordering missalettes?

    In my personal experience, we typically waited until September or so.

    Harper-Collins publishes a missalette which you keep rather tham throw away. Not expensive and they contain the entire 3 year cycle of Sunday readings.

    WLP has an English/Spanish missalette which we use. We have a standing order for them and they ship the new ones about a month before their start date.

    I believe that the readings come from the Jerusalem Bible and the Psalms are from the Revised Grail Psalter.

    That's a hangup for US use; the JB is no longer permitted here, only the US Lectionary, which is mostly but not completely from the NAB.
