Professional Choral Scholar Position Available
Baritone/Bass

St. Hugo of the Hills Catholic Church is currently seeking a professional choral scholar to help support and lead the Tenor section of the Liturgical Choir. The successful candidate will have a well-developed technique, excellent musicianship and interpersonal skills, and will be sensitive to blending within an ensemble. Availability for Christmas and Holy Week is required.

The choral scholar would be required to attend the following during the choir season, which runs from September until the end of May/beginning of June:

-Weekly Rehearsals: Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:15 p.m.
-Weekly Mass: Sunday mornings from 9:15-11:00 a.m. (two Masses at noon each half of the season)
-Christmas and Holy Week liturgies (schedule to be announced at the beginning of the choir season)
-Extra rehearsals and concerts (as scheduled)

The stipend is $50.00 per call. There are usually two calls per week.
