How enormously cool is this?
  • Paraclete is the first major publisher to pick up a CMAA publication. Five years ago, this would have been unthinkable. I'm completely thrilled. I hope it opens up new markets and gets the chant ever wider distribution.

    Check it out.
  • I love Paraclete Press even better now!

You know, this book is really a great resource- it is incredibly well-done. I recommend it to everyone remotely interested in Gregorian chant.

Thanks for the alert, Jeffrey, and congrats!!
    God bless CMAA

  • I love my copy!
  • Well, truly, this is a wonderful thing for us in so many ways. Arlene is the one who arranged it all. I hope it is just the beginning. So thrilling to see the way the CMAA has grown and the musical ideals along with it.

I did a funeral yesterday where the family only requested the Schubert. So, me pulled out PBC 2 and chanted Requiem introit, lux aeterna, in paradisum. And one of these days I'ma gonna find the time to add the Dies irae as a fourth option Offertorio!
Second edition is just flat out beautiful. RRice is "the Man."

I agree. The second edition is just gorgeous. We just got ours and our chant scholas love them.
