I just found out that our Paster has given the green light to us having the traditional Latin Mass at our parish, once per month. All we need to do is train the servers, and help the congregation with worship aids and obviously sing the chants.
I am very excited also that this TLM will mostly likely be in place of one of the Sun evening teen masses.
Any resources to help us get started would be helpful. The music resource is obvious. I mean more of a Liturgy resource as well as worship aids.
Well, if you have the budget, I'd recommend the Campion Missal. Super cool resource, I use it whenever I go to the EF either in the loft or pews. But for once a month, unless some donor buys them or something, probably not feasible. Yet.
Otherwise, you can print weekly congregation latin/english sheets here with the propers, collects, and readings. You may need to dig around a bit, but it's all there, you just have to find it.
Lastly, if your priest isn't super familiar with his chants for Sung Masses, I've used this with my pastor before. You can get them all on CDs or online.
This priest's resources can also be had in hard-bound book here. Same content, just published.
If you find the propers daunting, go to this link: http://musicasacra.com/music/latin-settings/ and scroll down to the "Simpler options for the propers of the Extraordinary Form". We use the Rossini as we build confidence for the "proper" Propers so to speak. :)
Chants Abreges is also really nice. Better than a psalm tone, but much easier than learning the gradual or alleluia. I've user it more than once when I sang on short notice.
Contact the local parish of the FSSP or ICKSP. You said you needed resources? I'm sure that one of these parishes has a flourishing music program and altar boy guild (perhaps even the Archconfraternity of St. Stephen). Make as much use as you can, also, of cpdl, a good music resource for those who are struggling with financial constraints.
The ICKSP has downloadable propers for all the Sundays of the year, and many other feasts as well.
