Apparently some Garnier Alleluias on the CCWatershed Garnier site download and/or appear as garbled (for lack of a better term) symbols instead of notes. A recent occurrence, I am unable to see the music or print it. As far as I know, it is just the Naples (my) Garnier Alleluia scores. I tried some of the others (Weber, Nickel, etc.) and they seem to look normal. They are submitted in pdf format. Does anybody have any idea why these files would be garbled? (I just looked at them on my Macbook, and they appear normal, but the PC at my church, and elsewhere could not view them recently). Many thanks, JNaples
If you're viewing the PDF directly in the browser, that might explain what you're seeing. Some built-in browser PDF viewers don't handle music fonts correctly, but you should be able to download the file to your desktop and open it separately there. Does that work for you?
Thank you for the suggestion. I will tell my cantors to do that. I recently found that the file is garbled when viewed with the Mozilla viewer, and clear with the Chrome viewer.
