St. Paul’s Choir School, Harvard Square in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Director of Development. The Director will work closely with the School Administration in the ongoing growth and execution of a comprehensive advancement program in support of the mission of the School – the only Catholic choir school for boys in the United States. Candidates must have a passion for Catholic education and successful personal experience in the development field.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or higher and have proven experience in all facets of development, particularly annual giving. The ideal candidate will be able to cultivate relationships within the School’s diverse donor community. She/he will be personable, energetic, creative, well-organized, detail-oriented, independent, flexible and hard-working. She/he will have a strong commitment to Catholic education. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a good sense of humor and the ability to function in a small office, highly collaborative team environment. Computer proficiency in a PC environment is a must; familiarity with the following is required: Raiser’s Edge fundraising database software, word processing, spreadsheet and budget management, email and internet research.
