    First off, love it.

    I've tried to contact St. Anthony's parish, but the only contact info available online is the rector's email address. He has not responded to my queries....

    Does anyone know:
    -what this piece of music is?
    -how to get in touch with the music director there?

    Heck, the place is in Lawrence, maybe one of you Massachusetts people could just drive out there one day...

    Hi, Adam--

    I've attended Maronite liturgies at St Anthony's in Lawrence and other Maronite churches in the area a few times. It's not unusual to hear a hymn like this during Communion; some of these hymns have been adapted into English, and there is a hymn book. I don't know Arabic, but those that are sung in English are devotional hymns, i.e., non-liturgical texts, and sometimes take the form of retelling a Scripture story and commenting on it.

    It is for the memorials of St. Theresa or St. Rita, but is general enough that it could be used any time. It is well known in Lebanon, but is not well known here. It is not in the Cedars of Lebanon hymn book that we have in the English speaking diaspora, nor is it part of the works of the Inter-Eparchial Music Commission.

    I will try to find out its title and exact wording when our cantor comes back from his vacation in Lebanon.
