Compline of the Next Sunday/Solemnity

    I recently started reciting the Liturgy of the Hours, and I have a question about Compline. If it comes after Vespers, and if Vespers on a Saturday is really the First Vespers of the following Sunday, should Compline of the next Sunday/solemnity be recited on the preceding day?

    You can use the Saturday Compline. It's designed with reference to the anticipated Sunday already.

    In some editions it's not obvious. Some of them place it at the end of the week under the heading "Saturday"; in some it's listed at the start of the week under the heading "After Evening Prayer I on Sundays", but it's got the same psalms, etc.
