You can use any alleluia any time you want. However due to it's origins in the easter chant O filii et filiæ, it's fitting to use it for easter and use other ones for the restore of the year.
If the Mode II Alleluia is popular in your parish, you could try introducing some of the threefold Alleluias from the Graduale Simplex for the rest of the year. They're all available in a neat and tidy pdf here: http://media.musicasacra.com/media2/alleluias-simplex.pdf
While I am not a musician, I hope to eventually get to that point.
Matthew, is there a resource that has accompaniments for all those Alleluias? I know Aristotle has written a few but I was wondering if there are more out there that I am missing.
