We have a monthly (weekday) Mass for men. I am looking for something distinctly masculine where barely a tenor would feel comfortable. Where's the manly crusader chant from the Holy Sepulcre? Well, seriously, we need a simple Mass and there are many many options. Please advise and Thanks!
Not a direct response, but wouldn't a Vespers or Compline (sorry.. Evening or Night Prayer) be a more appropriate prayer form for this sort of gathering?
Seriously, go nosing about internet or collegiate libraries for some Eastern (Byzantine/Orthodox) charts for men that aren't in Cyrillic/Russian/Armenian/Greek texts. Don't be to sure that your local SPEBSQUA (Barbershop) organization doesn't have some decent hymn charts for LTBBs voicing as well.
