    Hi everyone,

I'm looking for an organ setting of the hymn tune "Saint Peter". That tune is commonly set to the text "How sweet the name of Jesus sounds". Does anyone know of a decent arrangement that could be used as a organ prelude or solo organ piece at the offertory?

    Thanks so much!

It's 156/159 in the ICEL RESOURCE COLLECTION. As has been discussed by JT, in that not all of the hymns/texts are in the PD, GIA has not, to my knowledge, released an online version.
Maybe Noel has versions from the PD he can post. You can contact me thru the message center here for further info.

Reinagle's harmonization of his own tune IS in the public domain.

Thanks, Father, for helping find the resource. No inference of malice towards GIA was intended in my response, for the record. Your visiting here and presence at PTB is always a happy occasion for me.

Charles, thanks for identifying yourself. Wishing you a wonderful Pentecost weekend. And rejoice with me. I was not selected for the criminal trial jury!
