I'm currently setting the Ordinary of the Mass in English, and writing a requiem in Latin. Every once in a while, I will compose a short work, setting the text of a Latin poem, such as O Magnum Mysterium, etc. I just started the requiem today while I was waiting for my brakes to get fixed in the shop!

    What's everyone working on?

Just finished the Requiem. I'm including a version of "Panis Angelicus" that I did, and also a Latin poem I wrote called "Iucunda Anima Mea," intended for the recessional, or for after Mass, as people are leaving.
  • Now in progress: Circumduxit eam, the communion antiphon for the feast of St Therese of the Child Jesus. My intent is to write it as a canon - something about the text makes that seem the most logical form.
